COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF DIGITALIZATION AND ECONOMIC GROWTH AND RELEVANT COUNTERMEASURES

ABSTRACT: This research paper compares how the digital economy influences global economic growth. For this purpose, this study suggests a Comparative Analysis of Digitalization and Economic Growth in the Asian countries using ICT (ICT-DEG). Primarily, this research article compares the Asia’s digital economy and culture in order to make growth predictions. Based on the study findings, a cross-country study highlights that social processes vary widely between Asian states whereas the growth of the digital economy and internet access influence the national income. Furthermore, the proposed method is crucial for understanding the Asia’s GDP per capita shifts. Meanwhile, ICT boosts economic growth in all categories of states. Hence, this study analyzes the technology and proposes effective control strategies to promote economic growth, competitiveness, and standard of living. Finally, the study results indicate that economies must digitize and turn their people into active human resources, in order to maximize the economic benefits of increased R&D investment. Thus, the policymakers, business executives, and researchers should utilize technological advancements and digitalization to promote economic growth.
