ABSTRACT: The main purpose of this work is to achieve a very clear picture of the expected societal and economical digital transformations as a result of the manifestation of technological singularity (TS) scenarios. Thus, we aim to identify scenarios of manifestation of the technological singularity, to delineate the assumed roles of the humanity in the interaction with the artificial intelligence (AI) and to clarify the influence of some TS scenarios on the roles of the humanity in the interaction with the artificial intelligence. In order to achieve this goal, we used as a research method, the questionnaire addressed to the experts of the society and technology from different academic fields in Romania, the survey being also an associated tool. The results of the research confirm that the humanity wants to have an intermediary role between the biological and the technological and to consolidate its role as a master of the interaction with the artificial intelligence technology against the accelerated manifestation of technological singularity in society and technology background scenarios. Our work is original meaning that not only it statistically substantiates scenarios, roles and influences the scenarios upon the roles but also it certifies the truths about the relationship between the man and the technology in the future societal context.
