INFLUENCE FACTORS OF GREEN ENERGY ON EU TRADE
Nicolae Istudor, Vasile Dinu, Dan Costin Nitescu

ABSTRACT. As the world, economies and societies are changing, the research analyses elements relevant for the actual context, with the strategic view over the future, to support policy actions related to the transition towards the green economy. The liaison between financing and trade flows is explored in the research, within the perspective of the green economy. The focus of the paper is to examine, which, among the selected factors, has a relevant influence over the foreign trade, reflected by exports and imports, at the level of selected countries. As specific literature emphasises, foreign trade and economic growth are connected, directly and strategically. Financing, structured in various programs and arrangements, disbursed via banking, capital markets, represents a strong catalyser for the transition process towards a green and sustainable economy.
