A MULTIDIMENSIONAL MODEL OF TALENTS TRAINING MODE IN TRANSNATIONAL HIGHER EDUCATION3
Chao Dong, Jing Liu, Jing Jiang, Jinggu Zhang

ABSTRACT. Talents Training Mode (TTM) in transnational higher education (TNHE) has been studied at different levels in the literature. However, much of the research is at a policy-making level or on specific programs. This research takes an empirical analysis approach to construct a multidimensional system of TTM. First, based on the questionnaire data about the influencing factors of students' ability in career development, it is found that the quality of teaching and character training is significantly related to the factors influencing students' ability in career development. Second, a regression analysis is adopted to determine the indicators in the system of TTM. Third, this paper applies the principle of Management by Objective (MBO) to build two first-level and eight second-level indicators for the system. The research suggests that the core indicators for TTM in transnational higher education are career planning ability, learning ability, personal management ability and basic ability, based on which a multidimensional model of talents training is established to give reference to decision-makers, covering such five dimensions as professional capacities, innovation and entrepreneurship, core quality and international vision .
