CHARACTERISTICS OF SERVICE QUALITY EVALUATION IN RURAL TOURISM SECTOR: CASE OF THE BALTIC STATES (LITHUANIA, LATVIA, POLAND)

ABSTRACT. This paper examines the quality of services offered by the rural tourism sector of Lithuania, Latvia and Poland using QUESC model. The rural tourism business sector of Lithuania, Latvia and Poland, its players, services and service quality haven't been researched in great detail; the research is usually limited to a single research model suitable for rural tourism farmsteads that have been in the business for some time. Innovation in rural tourism consists in introducing a new tourist offer, tourism space creation as well as the implementation of better solutions in the customer service processes. Innovation improve a tourism product, sometimes it builds the strength of the brand .
