CONTEXTUALIZATION OF MANAGEMENT PRACTICES FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF KNOWLEDGE-BASED MANAGEMENT

ABSTRACT. The present study reveals the main conclusions drawn from the analysis of the cultural dimension of "masculinity- femininity", the impact that its specific organizational behavioural variables exert on the managerial practices currently used in Romania in the South-West Oltenia Region organizations included in the research sample. At the same time, based on the respondents' opinions on the desired projections, the study contributes to the prefiguration of a model of managerial behaviour that is in line with the expectations of the employees and which will lead in the future to the creation of an organizational climate where the dominant values are communication, collaboration, creativity, knowledge and competitiveness, and will allow the firm to capitalize on the potential of intellectual capital, through a performing knowledge management .
