ECONOMIC ANALYSIS OF HEAT AND ELECTRICITY PRODUCTION IN THE DECENTRALISATION OF THE RUSSIAN ENERGY SECTOR

ABSTRACT. This paper focuses on the development and economic justification of the decisions related to the organisation of the combined production of electricity and heat in the structural transformation of the electricity sector, and the development of distributed energy in Russia. A comparative analysis of competitive technologies of electricity and heat combined production is done. The role of gas turbine cogeneration power plant at the power system decentralisation is studied, and analysis of the key problems of their design is conducted. The cost-effective schemes of heating gas turbine cogeneration power plant operating in the energy market are offered. Economic analysis of the proposed solutions and conclusions about their comparative economic efficiency is fulfilled from the perspective of the selected evaluation criteria .
