LABOUR MIGRATION OF UKRAINE'S POPULATION: SCIENTIFIC AND PUBLIC DISCOURSE

ABSTRACT. In this article theoretical approaches to international migration in the literature have been discussed; theoretical and methodological foundations of the research instruments, which allows the most complete study of the social dimension of external migration have been outlined; methodological research questions of external migration have been considered, and corresponding results of the applied research have been presented. Empirical data from database of international study of the project EUMAGINE served as the basis for testing the research scheme. This article focuses on the migration discourse of the people surveyed, as well as media discourse on external migration in Ukrainian media, with a focus on printed issues.
