Possibilities of Raising Long-Term Financial Resources in Transforming Economies

ABSTRACT. One of the urgent problems of the transforming economics is fazing of long-term financial resources for re-structuralization of economics. As basic providers of long-term resources figure the banks and the capital market. The following article is devoted to the analysis of the banking sector and the capital market in the Czech Republic.

The analysis target is to insure how the development of credit emission was influenced by three basic factors:

  1. the number of bank brokers,
  2. the volume of available financial resources and
  3. peak of acceptable demand.

Another target is to explore functionality of the Czech capital market from the viewpoint of the ability to appreciate financial assets and to effectively allocate financial resources. The significance of the paper lies in the research of the Czech capital market and indication of ways of eliminating obstacles and identifying trends for the further development.
