Applying the Principles of Sustainability in University Management: A Comparative Analysis

ABSTRACT. This paper focuses on how the sustainability concept is being implemented in education, namely at the university level, pertaining to the attempts of introducing elements of sustainable development education into the curricula of universities. Worldwide exemplars are being discussed here with the intention to base methodological background of further empirical studies on sustainable governance of universities in Lithuania.
