International Business in Transition Economies

ABSTRACT. The Guest Editorial is dedicated for the 2nd International Conference “International Business in Transition Economies”, which was held in Vilnius, on 12-14th September, 2002. The co-organises of this conference review conference presentations, which were thoroughly selected after double blind reviewing to be published in this volume of “Transformations in Business & Economics”. Representatives from the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Poland, Byelorussia and Lithuania have presented their papers in this edition of the scientific journal, researching economic and managerial issues in transition economies, developing comparative studies of the CEEC and the EU member-states. Still the major focus of the papers rests on the internationalisation theories and processes taken place in practical situations, which are supported by extensive research material, solid findings and recommendations.
