Evaluation of the Performance Appraisal System in Lithuanian Tourism Companies

ABSTRACT. The article examines the way, in which the performance of the employees of Lithuanian tourism companies is appraised. It attempts to provide a picture of the principal methods used in the appraisal process, which consequently influences employees’ motivation, their efforts and achievements.
